Barcelona has reportedly sign Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho to replace Neymar who made a world record move to Paris Saint-Germain.
With a massive $262m in hand after selling Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona are ready to splash over a $109m on a replacement.
They have identified Coutinho as a replacement Spanish newspaper Sport are reporting that Barcelona are very close to signing the Brazil international
Sources told ESPN Deportes’ Jordi Blanco a delegation from Barca travelled to Liverpool last night to finalise the negotiation with the Spanish side’s chief executive Oscar Grau present.
The news comes on the day the 25-year-old has reportedly told Jurgen Klopp he wants to leave Anfield.
Liverpool face Watford in their Premier League opener on Saturday and will be desperate for Coutinho to be involved.
But the Reds star looks to have his heart set on a move to La Liga.
Liverpool have previously rejected a £72m offer from Barca for their talisman.
The Spanish side were interested in Coutinho before they sold Neymar.
But following the striker’s exit, Barca have made their move quickly for the Liverpool midfielder.
Ernesto Valverde’s side have also been linked with Borussia Dortmund star Ousmane Dembele.
