Indian Pair of Soumyajit Ghosh and G Sathiyan Finish Runner Up After going down to top-seeded Japanese duo of Jin Uda and Maharu Yoshimura by 13-11 , 7-11 , 4-11 , 11-6 ,5-11.

In the process, Soumyajit & Sathiyan becomes first ever Indian pair to reach the finals of ITTF World Tour.

India Due came back from 8-10 to take first set 13-11 after a good fight , next 2 set was comfortably won by top seeded pair. Indian Pair comeback strongly and win 3rd set easily by 11-6 . but Japaneses pair show their class in last set and win it by 5-11

Earlier The Indian pair blanked compatriots Anothony Amalraj and Sanil Shetty 3-0 (11-3, 12-10, 11-8) to make the men’s doubles final of the World Tour .

While The Japanese duo had it tough against Hungarian duo of Nandor Ecseki and AdamSzudi before winning their semifinal 11-9, 5-11, 11-4, 8-11, 11-6.

In the quarterfinals, Soumyajit and Sathiyan, despite conceding 1-3 lead, came back strong to get the better of Tai pei’s Lin un Ju and Yang Heng-Wei 3-2. Amalraj and Shetty, though, had an easy quarterfinal against Tedor Alexandrov and Denislav Kodjabashev of Bulgaria. But when it came to facing Soumyajit and Sathiyan, the left-right combo of Amalraj and Shetty didn’t pose any threat.

“It feels great to enter the final of such a competitive event for the first time. Though, Soumyajit and I are playing as a pair after a long time, it didn’t take much time to form a good combination because we know each other’s games well. So far it’s been good and hoping to continue our good form in the final,” Sathiyan after entering final
