Manchester City unbelievable run continues as they defeat the Leicester City by 5-1 in a style.
Sergio Aguero remained the show stopper of the match as he scored brilliant four goals (48′,53′, 77′, 90′) against the Foxes. He has now scored in his seven consecutive games at the Etihad Stadium in all competitions for the first time in his Manchester City career.
In addition to that, by scoring four goals today Aguero has now scored 4+ goals in a Premier League match on three different occasions, more than any other player in the competition.
Raheem Sterling (3′) was the another goal-scorer for the Blues while James Vardy (24′) scored the only goal for Leicester City.
Meanwhile Kevin De Bruyne became the first Manchester City player to provide three assists in a Premier League game since Samir Nasri in the 5-1 away win at Spurs on 28 Aug 2011.
Despite the loss, James Vardy the sensational player became the only player in premier League history to score against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man United & Tottenham in the same season. Quite Lethal he is !
This is how Twitter reacted to City’s incredible win :
@ManCity @LCFC We all know @aguerosergiokun is lethal and is tearing up all the record books, but that goal is all about @fernandinho

Watching Manchester City now reminds me of Arsenal 15 years ago.

3 – Kevin De Bruyne has provided three assists in a single game for the first time in his Manchester City career. Repetition.

What impresses me the most about Manchester City at the moment is how the team have so many starters injured and still performing so well. The strongest XI is yet to play consistently.

Can we just give the trophy to Manchester City and the rest continue with their struggles

Manchester City are a very good side and I like Claude Puel but unsure why he changed the system at the start of the second half. Can’t legislate for mistakes but seemed a little odd at the time.
