Ashish Kumar and Satish Kumar won quota number four and five in Boxing for India, take Indian Olympics quota telly to 37.
Asian silver-medallist Ashish Kumar make it 36 for India with a 5-0 win over Indonesia's Maikhel Roberrd Muskita. But Muskita give him tough time specially in opening and final round. While Satish bout was one sided as he defeat his Mongolian 38-Year-Old opponent by 5-0.
It will be Maiden Olympic for both Ashish and Satish. Satish is 2 time Brozne medal at Asian Championship and one time Bronze medlist in Commonwealth games. He was fourth seeded here at Asian / Oceans boxing Olympic Qualifier.
The 25-year old Ashish followed in Lovlina's footsteps and totally out-boxed his 19-year old Indonesian opponent. He won the first 2 rounds with a unanimous 5-0 verdict, with 4 judges scoring the 1st round 10-9 and the other judge scoring it 10-8 in favour of Ashish. The 2nd round was even more one-sided with 3 judges scoring the round 10-9 and the other 2 judges scoring it 10-8 in favour of Ashish.
With the bout almost sealed, Ashish took it slightly easier in the last round but never allowed his opponent to get the upper hand, eventually closing the bout with a unanimous 5-0 verdict with the final judges' scorecards reading 30-27, 30-27, 30-26, 30-24, 29-28 in the Indian's favour.
Satish, a bronze medalist at the Asian Championships, comprehensively out-punched his Mongolian opponent getting a unanimous 5-0 verdict in all the 3 rounds. While in the 1st round he got a score of 10-9 from 4 judges and 10-8 from the other judge, the extent of his domination can be gauged by the fact that all the 5 judges scored the final 2 rounds 10-8 in the Indian's favour.

Earlier today Pooja Rani (women 75kg), Vikas Krishan (69kg) and Lovlina Borgohai(women 69kg) has also confirm quota for India in Boxing. With these five boxing quota India quota telly has raise to 11. Only boxer losses today Sachin also has chance to qualify for Olympic via Box-off.
Sachin need to win two bout to make it to olympic, and his road to olympic is not too tough. He will fight the Vietnamese boxer next and if he wins will face the winner of Tajikistan & Thailand. All three boxer lost badly to their respective opponent in Quarterfinals. He will get the quota if he wins both matches.
Tomorrow all other boxer will be fighting it for Olympic quota. Amit Panghal (52kg) will face Carlo Paalam of Indonesia for quota place. World Championship medlist Manish Kaushik will be up against Mongolian Asian game/ Championship medlist Baatarsükhiin Chinzorig for 63kg Olympic quota.
In women, second seeded Mary Kom (51kg) will faces Philippines boxer Irish Magno who won her opening bout by RSC. Sakshi Chaudhary who knocked out fourth seeded in earlier round of 57kg will be up against Korean Im Ae-ji. Most difficult bout of day will be for Simranjit Kaur (60kg) who will be up against Second seeded Monkhoryn Namuun.
