India returned with three medals on Thursday in the ongoing 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta to take their medal tally to 18.

Ankita Raina earned bronze to kick start India’s day despite her loss 4-6, 6-7 to Shuai Zhang of China in a match which lasted for over two hours.

15-year-old shooter Shardul Vihan then earned silver in men’s Double Trap final. Shardul shot 73 to claim the silver medal, while Korea’s 34-year-old Shin Hyunwoo clinched gold scoring 74.

The last medal of the day was a bit of a shock as the Indian men’s kabaddi team lost to Iran 18-27 and were knocked out in the semi-final, therefore, settling for bronze.

This was the first time the Indian men’s kabaddi team had to settle for anything less than gold in the Asian Games.

Medal Tally

Hina Sindhu and Manu Baker will be in action. They will be battling in 10m Pistol. Rohan Bhopana And Divij Sharan will play Men’s Double Final tomorrow . in Rowing 6 Gold Medal Will be there. It will be Last day for swimming and 3 Gold Medal matches will be on stake. Indian swimmers will try to win atleast 1 medal from the swimming on the last day.

Indian Golfers started the Round 1 on a good note & they will be try to carry the momentum on round two too. Indian men’s team is currently 2nd After Round 1 and in individual category, Aadil Bedi is placed 2nd with 3 Under.

In Squash top Seeded Saurav Ghosal will face other Indian, Harinder Singh Sandhu in Quater Final which means 1 Indian will be there in semifinal and hence confirm one more medal.

In contract Bridge, in Mix team Event India is on Top after Round 2 match 1. Indian will wtart there EQUESTRIAN
and Sailing companion tomorrow. In Archery Both Recurve And Compound team will Play their round of 16 Matches tomorrow. Compound mix team of Abhishek and Jyothi is seeded 2nd.
