Indian swimmer Sajan prakash did an incredible job to qualify for the men’s 200m Butterfly final at 18th Asian Games 2018.
The lone Indian participating in men’s 200m Butterfly event, finished overall on 3rd position in the final list with the decent timings of 1 minute 58. 12 seconds to top the Heat 3.
In the final list, Japan’s Daiya Seto finished first with the timings of 1 minute 57. 23 seconds, followed by another Japanese Nao Horomura (1 minute 58. 06 seconds) and India’s Sajan Prakash (1 minute 58. 12 seconds).
The final will be held at 6 p.m. (IST) and will be shown live on Sony Liv App & Sony Ten channels.
100m Men’s Backstroke
Srihari Nataraj shattered the National Record to qualify for the finals of men’s 100m Backstroke event.
17-year old, finished on top of the Heat-1 with the timings of 55.86 seconds, to qualify for the finals as 8th fastest in the final list.
Another Indian in the same event, Mani Arvind failed to qualify for the next round.
200m Men’s Freestyle
Indian swimmer, Saurabh Sangvekar failed to qualify for the finals of 200m men’s freestyle event after finished second in his heat and 24th overall in the final standings.
