Indian duo of Satwiksairaj & Chirag Shetty continued their dream run after causing another huge upset in 3 days & this time they got the better of World no.6 pair from Denmark (Mads Pieler kolding & Mads Conrad) at Indonesia Masters 2018.
Indian young pair reached the semi-finals after defeating the fourth seeds by 21-23 21 -15 19-21 in a match that lasted an hour and six minutes.
The World No 32 Indian pair, who had beaten the Danish pair at the French Open pre-quarterfinals last year, fought back from 9-11 and 12-16 in the decider to clinch the hard- fought win.
This would be the first major semis for the Indian pair.
The road ahead will get more tough for the young pair as they face top seeds Indonesian pair of Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo next in the semi-finals.
