World No.20,Ajay Jayaram was unable to continue his heroics of yesterday as he got outplayed by Son Wan in two straight sets 21-18,21-14 .

In first set, Ajay gave Son Wan a great fight but it was korean who had the last laugh as he won the set 21-18, 2nd set proved to be a bit formality as Son won it comfortably by 21-14 to wrap up the things quickly & book his seat to Semis of Malaysian Open.

Malaysia Open : Indian campaign ends

Korea’s Son Wan proves to be tough rival for Ajay Jayaram as this was Son Wan’s 4th straight victory over him & this shows how Indian has struggled against him in the previous matches too.

With Ajay’s loss Indian campaign has comes to an end, as newly World no. 2 P.V. Sindhu & London Olympic bronze medallist Saina Nehwal with other Indians had to face loss in the first round of the tournament.

Despite losing today, the credits should go to Ajay Jayaram as with other Indians Falling apart, he kept himself cool to beat World No.2 & showed a decent fight against World no.5 too.
