- Fabian Delph & Vincent Komapany to face fitness tests.
- John Stones & David Silva remains a doubt for the Man City team against Crystal Palace.
Man City is all set to lock horns with Crystal Palace on Sunday but Pep Guardiola’s team could be without six players for their Premier League game.
The league leaders head to Selhurst Park 15 points clear at the top, although United can narrow the gap when they play Southampton on Saturday
City is just one win away from matching European record of 19 consecutive wins – currently held by his 2013/14 Bayern Munich side but they have to do it without some key members of the team.
Fabian Delph missed out the game against Newcastle while Vincent Komapany had to left the field in the opening minutes of the game; both face further fitness tests to determine whether they can feature on Sunday.
After missing six weeks of action, John Stones is close to return but Sunday’s match would be too close for him given he is unable to play 90 minutes.
David Silva is still a doubt having missed three of the last four games for person reasons while Benjamin Mendy and Phil Foden remain long term absentees.
Said Guardiola on Kompany: “He’s not as bad as we thought, we think he will be ready for the next fixtures but we’ll know tomorrow.
“It’s not a big issue and he can be soon ready to help us.
“John is much better, he made the first training session with the team, he’s not ready for 90 minutes but he’s back in the team and for the next games he will be fit.
“[Delph is] much better, we’ll see on Saturday. It’s quite similar, he knows his body better than the other ones. “
