After registering a scintillating performance this weekend against Tottenham Hotspurs, Manchester United’s star midfielder Paul Pogba has missed today’s training session at Carrington.
But don’t get too much worried United fans as the Frenchman only took a leave because his partner has given birth of his first child.
Reportedly his girlfriend Maria Salaues has given birth to a baby boy today, and that is the reason the Frenchman was missing wednesday from Manchester United’s training camp.
Paul Pogba is delivering some sumptuous performances under the new caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, something that was very rarely seen under Jose Mourinho.
Even in the weekend’s huge win over Tottenham the French midfielder played a pivotal part and also assisted the only goal with a sublime pass and it is quite visible that he once again started to enjoy the football.
On the other hand Alexis Sanchez missed the Wembley trip due to a minor injury but the mercurial winger joined the training camp on Wednesday. Under the new caretaker manager the fans only seen some glimpses of his sublime football skills and all are waiting for a consistent display of that.
Nemanja Matic also missed training a couple of days ago as he also welcomed his baby girl. Chris Smalling has yet to return from a foot injury, while Marcos Rojo is also unavailable as the Argentine is undergoing rehab.
Former United striker Giuseppe Rossi was part of the group as he looks to build fitness and earn a move elsewhere. Solskjaer also confirmed that Sir Alex Ferguson is also quite impressed by the progress of Giuseppe Rossi.
Overall a happy mood was everywhere in Manchester as the management of the club are actually delivering some traits that these Mancunians are used to.
