Former Reds legend Ryan Giggs was on all praise mood after United beat huddersfield 3 goals to 1 at Old Trafford to register a 2nd win under the new caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskajer’s first game in charge was against Cardiff and his attacking football pleased not only the fans but the players as well.
Ryan Giggs was one of the stars who watched the Huddersfield game at Old Trafford and was deeply impressed by the impact new caretaker manager had on this set of players.
The veteran told MUTV, “Ole’s first home game and especially the positivity that came from the Cardiff game, the performance and the result, I think everyone was looking forward to the game, And the big players are turning up – Paul Pogba with the goals, David De Gea with a great save and Marcus Rashford just getting better and better each game. So, there’s a real positivity around the place, which we need that to carry on now going into the Bournemouth game.”
While every pundit was arguing that it is only the bottom half teams and not to get much hyped for the rest of the season, the atmosphere at Old Trafford certainly didn’t act like that and was buzzing. And after the brilliant win over Tottenham last weekend at Wembley even those pundits were praising Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Post Jose era is something very invigorating for the Old Trafford faithfuls as the shackles are off. Manchester United scored five goals for the first time in Premier League post Sir Alex Ferguson era.
The current Wales manager also said that his former colleague is much fond of attacking display and his philosophy is built around something near of Sir Alex Ferguson. Ole used to take notes of the liitle things that Sir Alex used to do during his time as a player here said his former teammate.
The win at Wembley will be a huge boost and will certainly bring back the belief in the dressing room as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will probably go through some rough patches as teams like Paris St. Germain, Liverpool and Manchester City are the teams that he will face.
Ryan Giggs certainly believes that this positivity will surely turn this season around which seemed to be a nightmare when he took over.
