The defending English Premier League champions Manchester City have appeared surprisingly to make a move on Real Madrid’s midfielder Isco this summer.
Isco, who is having a tough time at the Spanish capital nowadays, fears for his position in the team as Madrid is all set to bid for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
A move away from Real Madrid is on cards and Man City who ruled out any activity in winter transfer window, would be keen to covert this deal for the Spanish International. Pep Guardiola is himself a fan of Isco and a successful transfer will only further strengthen his squad.
Before Real Madrid signed Isco in 2013, there had been many rumors in the media that Manchester City had shown interest in signing the Spaniard too. However, a deal did not go through and Isco ended up at Real Madrid.
The 26 year old, who has won four Champions League Titles knows his time at the pitch will cut drastically if Real Madrid successfully signs Eden Hazard and he has clearly mentioned that he would seriously consider a switch to the Premier League.
City already have a host of world-class midfielders at their team and if Isco lands in Etihad, it will be a massive boost for the Citizens in their pursuit of conquering Europe.
The Blues were stunned by Crystal Palace in their last Premier League fixture and are now four points short of the Liverpool for the title.
