Youth Olympics : Day 1




The 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games, officially known as the III Summer Youth Olympic Games, and commonly known as Buenos Aires 2018, is a forthcoming international sport, cultural, and educational event that will be hosted in Buenos Aires, Argentina between 6 and 18 October 2018. It will be the first Summer Youth Olympic Games to be held outside of Asia (also first in the Southern and Western Hemispheres), and the first Youth Games for either summer or winter to be held outside Eurasia. The age limitation of the athletes at Youth Olympics is 14 to 18.

Manu Bhaker becomes the youngest to walk the Indian flag at the Obelisk, during the Opening Ceremony of the 3rd Summer Youth Olympics Games.





India Won 2 Silver Medal on Day 1 of Youth Olympics. Tushar Mane in Shooting, Tababi Devi in Judo open Indian Medal Telly on day 1 of competition. Tushar Mane won Silver medal in 10m Air rifle final with a brilliant come back in last few shots. 16-year-old Tababi Devi Thangjam became the first Judoka to clinch an Olympic medal.India Also makes a great start in Hockey, Table tennis and Badminton.
